Sandown Historics Car Display

Enjoy discounted entry into the wonderful world of historic motor racing including the "big banger" F5000 cars, Historic Touring Cars (not the Group A/C cars) plus much more - at least 10 categories altogether.

The display area will be on the Red Hill spectator area, which includes a raised area from where you can watch the racing from inside your car if the weather is inclement.  A shuttle bus usually operates to take spectators to the pits and paddock area where there will be food vendors. So, you might like to bring a picnic.  Toilets are provided at Red Hill.

Entry price will be discounted to $20 for a display car including the driver with additional passengers being charged $20 (children under 15 free).  A windscreen sticker will be provided at the meeting point to enable discounted entry.

Any car, any age, any condition as long as clean.

All charges payable at the gate.

We will meet in the car park of the Sandown Park Hotel facing Dandenong Road at 8:00 am before entering the track at 8:15 am. Times are subject to confirmation from the event organisers.

The full race event runs Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday all categories have one practice session and one race, on Sunday all categories have two races.  Racing usually finishes at about 5pm, but you do not need to stay to the end.
