The event will likely see the Victorian-style buildings along the main street come alive through the magic of large-scale light projections, Christmas animations and a trail of fairy lights throughout Sovereign Hill’s garden in the dazzling ‘Winter Wonderlights’ show. This show, set to Christmas-themed music, is sure to be bigger and brighter than ever before with more buildings lit up in impressive style, evoking the spirit and enchantment of Christmas. Plus, as always, there will be faux snow falling and that’s pretty magical in itself.

If you are wanting to attend Sovereign Hill during the day, pick 10am to 7pm option and this will allow you a pass out, so you can go back to your motel for a rest then come back in the evening.

Stay over at the Best Western Ballarat Suites or make you own accommodation booking - sooner rather than later as hotels seem to be busy.

Saturday night dinner at members own cost at Robin Hood Hotel Ballarat menu 7.15 pm. 

On Sunday enjoy a relaxing walk around the historic Ballarat town centre, visit the Eureka Stockade museum and Lake Wendouree, or ride the historic trams -  before lunch and a leisurely drive home on the Sunday.
