A wonderful morning of respectful and enjoyable competition at Karting Madness in Braybrook culminated in a grid start race, with the results shown above.

Whilst I (shown here as The Sage) was fortunate enough to take pole position after the practice session two miscalculations left me in 2nd spot. The first was not resuming full speed after a yellow session quickly enough and getting demoted to 3rd. The second was thinking I had passed Len whilst spun out thus, in my mind, putting me in a comfortable 1st. I would not have caught, yet alone passed, Len anyway to congratulations to him for a convincing win.
